RheoStudio is an AI workspace where you keep documents and work on them with an AI assistant. This policy explains what we collect, why, where it lives, who it reaches, and how to get rid of it. It describes what the product actually does today.
Who we are
RheoStudio is operated by Rheona. For any question about this policy or your data, or to request deletion, contact info@rheona.space.
What we collect
- Account: your username, or the email address of the Google account you sign in with. It identifies your workspace; we use it for nothing else.
- Your files: the documents and folders you create or upload, and their version history.
- Conversations: your chats with the assistant, kept per project so you can return to them.
We use no tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookie we set is the one that keeps you signed in.
Signing in
You can sign in with a username and password, or with your Google account. If you use Google, we receive only your basic profile (your email address) to identify your workspace, through Firebase Authentication. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts, or any other Google data.
The AI assistant, and what is sent to it
RheoStudio does not run its own model today. When you send a message, that message, together with any file content you have attached, is sent to a third-party AI model provider to generate the reply. That provider is currently DeepSeek. Your stored files are not uploaded wholesale: only the content you attach to a message is sent, and only to answer that message.
We have opted out of the provider using our API traffic to train or improve their models. Your content is used to answer your request and for nothing else.
When you upload an image (a photo, a screenshot or a scan) and ask the assistant to read it, that image is sent to Google's Gemini API to extract the text it contains, so the assistant can work from it. The extracted text is then treated like any other message content. Under the terms of the paid Google API we use, your content is not used to train or improve Google's models. If you never upload an image, nothing is sent to Google for this purpose.
When a question needs current information from the web, the assistant will ask you first, and only if you approve does it send a short search query to Google's Gemini API (its Google Search feature) to find and read relevant pages. The query is the search text, not your files. Nothing is searched unless you click to approve it, and the same paid-API terms apply, so your content is not used to train Google's models. If you never approve a search, nothing is sent to Google for this purpose.
We may change model provider as the product develops. If we do, we will update this page.
Where your data lives
Data is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage). File contents are encrypted at rest with AES-256 under a key held only by our server, so they are unreadable in the storage console or from a leaked bucket. File names, sizes and types are kept as metadata. Your data is scoped to your account: another user cannot reach your projects, files or conversations.
Who we share with
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising. It reaches only the providers needed to run the service: Google Firebase (storage and sign-in), DeepSeek (to generate the assistant's replies), and Google's Gemini API (when you ask the assistant to read an image, to extract that image's text; and, only if you approve a web search, to send the search query). We may disclose data where the law requires it.
Your controls
- Delete any file, conversation, or entire project from inside the app. Deleted files go to a Trash you can restore from; nothing is destroyed until you remove it permanently.
- Ask us to delete your account and everything in it: write to info@rheona.space and we will.
Changes
If we change what we collect or where it goes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
